Book Discussion

I started a book discussion on several sites (Goodreads and some FB pages) about Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm not in the big league and admit to harboring some jealousy but the book has few writing merits; a great marketing campaign , however. Since I'm the author of a contemporary women's book with some raunchy passages that isn't on the bestseller list, I need to find out. Not that I'm into Erotica. The book 50 Shades for me smacks too much of Maquis de Sade's Story of O.
A new writing/publishing magazine - highly recommended- I stumbled upon has a brilliant article on it, breaking down demographics etc.:http://www.publishingtalk.eu/infographics/50-shades-of-grey/#comment-3016 If you're interested at all. After subscribing to this new publication I found that one of my all time fav writers, Carol Drinkwater, is involved. Her book: The Olive Farm changed my life. After my experience on an Irish , organic farm--guess why! Hope I can finish writing that book soon. Siggy
